About

WHO WE ARE

American Corner Radom, officially opened on the 22nd of May 2012, serves as a regional resource center for information and programs highlighting American culture, history, current events, and government. Our main goal is to share the story of the United States and help individuals expand their general knowledge and skills, and understand American society, culture and values. The American Corner also aims to maintain an open dialogue on issues of mutual concern, and build bridges of understanding between American and Polish people.
The Agreement concerning the establishment of the American Center for Information and Culture American Corner was made in the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw and was the result of a letter of intent, which in June 2011 was signed by Mayor of Radom and U.S. Ambassador to Poland. The outpost operates as a part of Cultural Institution – “Radomski Klub Środowisk i Galeria” Łaźnia”. In cooperation with the American Embassy, American Corner conducts cultural and educational activities related to the theme of the United States of America.
