Mary McBride – American singer, composer, founder and executive director of The Forum for Cultural Engagement, visited our American Corner Radom, the art gallery at Łaźnia – Radom Creative Environment Club and Gallery and the Municipal Aid Point for Ukraine at the Municipal Institute – The Deskur House.
The main purpose of the visit was to gather some knowledge on the specifics of activities of non-governmental organizations in Radom in the context of the possibility of future, long-term cooperation.
Meetings with the vice-president of Radom, Mateusz Tyczyński, a representative of the local NGO Center, Emil Jaskulski, a representative of the ZHP Regiment Headquarters in Radom, Bartosz Bednarczyk, and volunteers gave our guest a full picture of the functioning of the support center for Ukrainian citizens and the involvement of the local community in helping refugees.
