American Corner Radom is so proud to have held the first pilot edition of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) in Poland
The program was carried out in cooperation with the US Embassy in Warsaw, and 31 women from Radom and the region had a chance to work under the supervision of professional business trainers to develop their competences useful in running a business. The 10 most attractive ideas for own business were awarded, and the financial awards which the women received gave them additional support to start or develop business ideas.

And good news! We are planning the next edition of the program soon. This is again a great opportunity for enterprising women from the region to to expand their knowledge, establish business contacts, network and gain appropriate experience.
Academy for Women Entrepreneurship (AWE) is a White House initiative run by the US Department of State, Office of Education and Culture (ECA) on diplomatic missions around the world to support the development of female entrepreneurship. The global goal of AWE is to empower women around the world so that they can use their economic potential, and thus create conditions for development for themselves, their families and local communities.
